The information below applies only to customers of Bittrex Global, GmbH (Liechtenstein). It does not apply to customers of Bittrex Global (Bermuda) Ltd.
As previously notified on 4 December 2024, trading on Bittrex Global has been suspended and client relationships with Bittrex Global have been terminated. All activity on the platform – except the ability to withdraw – has been terminated.
Bittrex Global will continue to liquidate long-tail assets remaining on the platform on January 9, 2025 at 1700 UTC into Ether (ETH) in the same manner as was completed in January 2024. A customer's claim to long-tail tokens will be replaced with a claim for ETH, at the rate at which it was liquidated on the actual date of liquidation (which may vary). The relevant amount of ETH will be deposited back into user accounts. Any currencies outside of the tokens listed below that are held in offline wallets will be liquidated to ETH following the above procedure, where possible.
In order to ensure the proper protection of all assets on the Bittrex Global platform, we will no longer support tokens outside of the tokens listed below:
- Bitcoin (BTC)
- Ether (ETH)
- Tether (USDT)
- USD Coin (USDC)
- Cardano (ADA)
- Ripple (XRP)
- Dogecoin (DOGE)
- Tron (TRX)
- Litecoin (LTC)
- Stellar (XLM)
Besides the coins listed above, there may be some coins that still have value (and so will not be deleted) but that are unable to be liquidated. In this case, these will be redeposited in full back into customer accounts no later than January 31, 2025. Coins that are determined to have "zero-value" will be deleted.
During the liquidation, any assets that are being liquidated are unavailable for withdrawal. You may also be unable to view all your coin balances. An entry in your user history will reflect the liquidation process, once started.
Once the liquidation is complete, withdrawals for the liquidated asset (ETH), or the tokens that have not been liquidated and instead have been redeposited into customer accounts, will be enabled. Online assets not subject to liquidation will remain available for withdrawal.
Default fees will only be assessed on coins not being consolidated to ETH during this time.
