Debit and credit card transactions on Bittrex Global

To fund your Bittrex Global Account using a debit or credit card, follow these steps: 

1. Click on Wallets in the top right corner of the homepage
2. Click Deposit by credit/debit card in the right column
3. Input amount wanting to be purchased
4. Click Enter card info next
5. Input your credit card information
6. Read and acknowledge the privacy policy and terms and conditions for the transaction
7. Click Pay
8. Once submitted, you may be prompted to a 3DSecure portal for your banking institution*
9. Follow the prompts to verify the transaction through the 3DSecure portal

Once the transaction is approved, the funds will be credited to your USD wallet. You can check the status of your deposit in the Deposits section of the Holdings page.

Please note that a 10-day withdrawal hold is applied on all USD and EUR deposited for newly created accounts.  You will need to wait 10 days to initiate a withdrawal of purchases with these funds.

** During this hold period, certain customers with recent fiat deposits may not have the ability to purchase in all markets.

How do I deposit EUR into my Bittrex Global account while charging USD or GBP to my card? 

Bittrex Global allows you to deposit USD and EUR to your Bittrex Global account while charging EUR/GBP/USD to your card. Bittrex Global will charge a 2.5% foreign exchange fee on top of the card processing fee for these transactions.

Can I use a business debit or credit card to fund my personal Bittrex Global account?

No, business debit and credit cards are not permitted.

Can I use a pre-paid Visa or Mastercard gift card? 

No, pre-paid gift cards are not accepted at this time. 

Can I remove my saved cards?

Yes. Select the saved card and click Remove and confirm with Yes.

What is 3DSecure?

3DSecure adds an additional security protocol to authenticate transactions. Authentication is bank specific. Please contact your banking institution if you have issues authenticating through the 3DSecure portal.

What are my withdraw holds?

Fiat funds deposited by card will be subject to a withdrawal hold for 10 days for new accounts. Please wait 10 days to withdraw these funds.
