What is happening to users in Canada?
As of 28 July 2022, Bittrex Global will no longer be able to service users in Canada, and our Canadian users will need to be off-boarded onto an appropriate Canadian service provider. We have partnered with Catalyx to simplify this process for our users, enabling them to opt in and have their accounts automatically transferred to Catalyx, the leading Canadian digital asset trading platform.

How do I transfer to Catalyx?
You must opt in to transfer to Catalyx by clicking the "Transfer Your Bittrex Global Account to Catalyx" button in the email, accept the Catalyx Terms of Service and set up your account by 21 July 2022 or you will not be part of the transfer. Once you accept the Terms of Service, Bittrex Global will send Catalyx your information to complete your account verification.
What is the timetable for the transfer of accounts to Catalyx?
- From 15 June 2022 to 21 July 2022 (the opt-in period), you will be able to opt in to transferring your account to Catalyx.
- From 21 July 2022 (1 week prior to transfer day) we will not be accepting any new fiat deposit/withdrawal wires to your account. You will still be able to trade with any funds already in your account.
- On 28 July 2022 (transfer day) your account will be disabled while we do the transfer:
- Any pending withdrawals will be cancelled
- Any open positions will be closed
- Any holdings you have in restricted products will be liquidated
- USD and EURO balances will be converted to USDT
- Account assets will be transferred to your Catalyx account
- Your Bittrex account will show zero balances for all your assets
Is there a deadline for the transfers to happen?
All affected users will need to have transferred off Bittrex Global by 28 July 2022. After 21 July 2022 you will no longer be able to opt in to having your account transferred to Catalyx, and on 28 July 2022 your open orders will be cancelled, you will no longer be a user of Bittrex Global and you will receive instructions on how to transfer your assets off our platform.
If you did not opt in to transfer your assets to Catalyx, you will receive instructions on how to transfer your assets off our platform.
What happens if I opt in to transfer to Catalyx?
After you click the "Transfer Your Bittrex Global Account to Catalyx" button in the email to opt in to transfer your holdings to Catalyx, you must accept the Catalyx Terms of Service and set up your Catalyx account password by 21 July 2022 or you will not be part of the transfer. Once you have accepted the Terms of Service and set up your Catalyx account, Bittrex Global will send Catalyx your Personal Information to complete your account verification. Catalyx will contact you when this process is complete, and your account will then be ready to be transferred.
Can I manually transfer my balances to Catalyx before your transfer date?
Yes, you can manually transfer your balances from Bittrex Global if you already have a Catalyx account, or if you set one up independently before the transfer date. To fund your account and start trading with Catalyx, you will have three options:
- Option 1: Manually transfer the assets you currently hold with Bittrex Global to your Catalyx account prior to the transfer date and start trading today.
- Option 2: Wait for Bittrex Global to transfer over your assets on the transfer date.
- Option 3. Fund your Catalyx account now with CAD fiat or Crypto and start trading right away, while you wait for your assets to be transferred over from Bittrex Global on the transfer date.
What happens if I don't want to transfer to Catalyx?
You can close your account at Bittrex Global at any time and transfer your assets away from our platform. Please complete this form to close your account.
If you choose not to opt in to the transfer to Catalyx, accept the Catalyx Terms of Service and create your Catalyx account by 21 July 2022 (the close of the opt-in period) then you will automatically be offboarded from Bittrex Global. On 28 July 2022 (transfer day), your open orders will be cancelled, you will no longer be a user of Bittrex Global and you will receive further instructions on how to transfer your assets.
What happens to my Bittrex Global credits?
Your Bittrex Global credits will expire on 28 July 2022 (transfer day).
Will my deposit address change?
Your crypto deposit addresses will change once you move to Catalyx. You will be provided with a new deposit address when you move to Catalyx.
What happens to customers with holdings in markets provided by Bittrex Global but not by Catalyx?
All your crypto holdings will be transferred to Catalyx. Any of these holdings that are in currencies that are not supported by Catalyx will then be able to be transferred off their platform. You can find a list of these currencies at the bottom of the Catalyx Questions and Answers page on our website.
Any fiat holdings that you have on Bittrex Global that are not supported by Catalyx will be transferred to USDT on transfer day.
What happens if someone tries to transfer funds to my Bittrex Global wallet after I have moved to Catalyx?
You will no longer have access to or be deemed the owner of your Bittrex Global wallet after transfer date so any funds transferred to it after 28 July 2022 will be considered lost funds.

What happens to my open positions?
Any open positions will be closed on 28 July 2022.
What happens to any fiat holdings that are not supported by Catalyx (e.g. Euros and USD)?
Any fiat holdings you have on Bittrex Global that will not be supported by Catalyx will be converted to USDT on transfer day.
What happens to any pending deposits and/or withdrawals?
Any pending withdrawals or deposits will be cancelled on 28 July 2022.
How do I obtain my Bittrex Global transaction history?
You must download your transaction history from Bittrex Global by 28 July 2022. This information will no longer be available to you after that date. You can download your transaction history by logging in to your Bittrex Global account and selecting “Orders” from the top menu, or by visiting https://global.bittrex.com/history and clicking “Download history” from the “Order history” section at the bottom of the page.
Please note that the following currencies will not be listed on Catalyx, but you will be able to transfer them off their platform.
