Issues:

I do not see a SEPA transfer option on the Holdings page.
This would either mean:

  • Your account accurately reflects that you are located in a country that is not eligible for fiat transactions. In this case, you would not see any of the options to fund your Bittrex Global account on the Holdings page. For a complete list of countries that are not supported for fiat transactions on Bittrex Global, please refer to this article.
  • You are located in a fiat eligible country, but the ID used to verify your Bittrex Global account is from an unsupported country. If this is the case, please expand the next Issue on this list for guidance.
I am located in a fiat eligible country, but the ID on my account is from an ineligible country.
Refer to this article for a list of unsupported countries that are ineligible from performing fiat transactions on Bittrex Global.

If you performed identity verification on your Bittrex Global account using an ID from an ineligible location, (even if you are currently located in an eligible location), you would be unable to make fiat transactions on Bittrex Global.

To resolve this, you will need to provide proof that you are in an eligible location for fiat transactions. Here are instructions on how to do this based on your account type:

Personal Corporate
  • Provide us with a valid government ID and address in an eligible location, OR
  • To prove your trading activity occurs in an eligible location, provide us with a copy of your lease agreement showing your name and the eligible address, along with a copy of a new state ID.

FAQ:

What fees does Bittrex Global charge for SEPA deposits?
There are no fees on SEPA deposits from Bittrex Global! However, we do suggest checking with your bank as they may charge a fee. This and other important information can be found in this article.
I submitted a fiat application to add my bank for wire transfers and was approved, do I need to fill one out for SEPA transfers?
Not typically, but it does depend on the scenario.

Scenario 1: You have never made a SEPA deposit before.
In this case, the answer is no, you do not need to submit a fiat application. Simply initiate a SEPA deposit, and once it is successful, this bank will be added to your Bittrex account for future SEPA transactions.

If for some reason this transaction fails, then please do submit a fiat application so we can help get this bank added to your account.

Scenario 2: You have made successful SEPA deposit(s) in the past, but you would like to add a new bank account for future SEPA transfers.
In this case, the answer is yes, you need to submit a new fiat application for each bank you want to add to your Bittrex account for future SEPA transfers.
How do I add another bank to my Bittrex Global account for SEPA transfers?
Please submit a fiat application so we can add the bank account for you.
Where is my deposit?

My deposit shows pending in my bank account but I don't see it in my Bittrex Global account.

This means the transaction has been voided. Voided deposits will be cancelled and returned to your card in less than 15 business days.

Potential reasons for this:

  • Special characters: Our card processor has trouble reading accents and special characters in names. To resolve this, try removing the accent/special character when inputting your name on the card deposit form.
  • Name mismatch: If you are using a nickname or a shortened version of your name on the card deposit form, please make sure it matches the ID uploaded to your Bittrex Global account.
  • Incomplete or cancelled transaction: Pending transactions may indicate you have not successfully completed the transaction, or you attempted to cancel the transaction.

Once you have identified the issue, please make the necessary changes and try the transaction again.
