SEPA Transfer Withdrawals
Issues:
FAQ:
I submitted a fiat application to add my bank for wire transfers and was approved, do I still need to link my bank account for SEPA?
Scenario 1: You have made successful SEPA deposits previously.
Making a successful SEPA deposit will automatically add the bank account to your Bittrex account for future SEPA transactions (including deposits and withdrawals). So in this case, you do not need to submit a fiat application. You can simply initiate a SEPA withdrawal.
Scenario 2: You have made successful SEPA transactions from one bank account in the past, but you would like to add a new bank account for future SEPA transfers.
In this case, you need to submit a new fiat application for each bank you want to add to your Bittrex account for future SEPA transfers.
Scenario 3: You made a credit/debit card deposit (and never previously made any SEPA deposits or submitted a fiat application for SEPA) and now want to withdraw via SEPA transfer.
In this case, you will need to submit a new fiat application.
Credit/Debit Card Withdrawals
Issues:
When you initiate a withdrawal, you will only see two methods in the withdrawal window:
This is because deposits into your Bittrex Global account from your credit/debit card are supported, however, you cannot withdraw from your Bittrex Global account back to your card. To withdraw your funds, you must either:
- Use SEPA Transfer: Withdraw the funds to your bank via SEPA transfer, or
- Use Wire Transfer: Submit a fiat application so we can enable the option on your account to withdraw via Wire Transfer
Ultimately, we suggest contacting us directly so we can look into this, but we have found that some cards have a higher decline rate than others in certain countries. Some examples of these include:
- Revolut (UK)
- Citibank (Australia and Vietnam)
- Vietnam Technological and Commercial JSB (Vietnam)
- Sumitomo Mitsui Card (Japan)
- Caixa Central De Credito Agricola Mutuo (Portugal)
- Banco Intesa A.D. Beograd (Serbia)
- BBVA Vancomer S.A. (Mexico)
- HSBC (Bermuda)
