If the status of your withdrawal is Invalid, this means:
- the crypto wallet address entered was not in the correct format (e.g. all ERC-20 wallet addresses start with 0x), or
-
the memo/tag/payment ID/message was incorrect
You will need to initiate another withdrawal, and be sure that the crypto address and any memo/tag/payment ID/message (only if required, but if NOT required, simply leave the field blank) are entered correctly, and are for the correct coin/token.
To learn more about what each status means, refer to the Questions section of this article.
If you see this status for longer than expected, it may just need extra time or require manual intervention from our wallets team who monitors these transactions throughout the day and pushes them through if needed. It should sort itself out shortly, but, if it has been more than 6 hours, please contact Bittrex Global Support so we can help.
The funds from your withdrawal will become a deposit to the receiving end. There are many factors that affect receipt of deposits. For more information, see our Crypto Deposit Issues and FAQ article.
Note:
This article mainly covers the scenario of depositing into a Bittrex Global account, however, there is some good general information about crypto deposits to be aware of as well.
With that in mind, let's make sure nothing is wrong on the Bittrex Global sending side:
-
The status of the withdrawal in your history should show as Completed, and there should be a transaction ID.
These are indicators of the withdrawal being broadcast to the blockchain successfully.
- If the status is Authorized or Invalid, please see the two preceding issues above. If the status is Pending, please review the Questions section of this article for what this status means.
- If the withdrawal does not show in your history at all, please see Where is my withdrawal? in the Questions section of this article.
- If the status is Authorized or Invalid, please see the two preceding issues above. If the status is Pending, please review the Questions section of this article for what this status means.
-
The transaction should be confirmed on the blockchain.
You can check this by copying the transaction ID from your Withdrawal History and searching for it on the block explorer. For instructions on how to do this, see How do I find my transaction on the block explorer? in the Questions section of this article.-
If the transaction ID appears on the blockchain, then it is not a Bittrex Global issue. The recipient should wait until it has the proper number of confirmations required to credit the deposit (refer to Where is my deposit? in this article for more information).
- If it does have the proper number of confirmations, then there is an issue on the receiving end.
-
If it does not have the proper number of confirmations, please hang tight, as there may be blockchain congestion.
↪ What is blockchain congestion?
- If not confirmed after 1 hour, please contact Bittrex Global Support so we can investigate. Be sure to include the coin/token name and the transaction ID.
-
If the transaction ID does not appear on the blockchain, please allow some time for it to appear. If it has been 24+ hours, please contact Bittrex Global Support so we can investigate, as it is possible the withdrawal has orphaned (for more information, please see What is an orphaned withdrawal? in the Questions section of this article).
-
If the transaction ID appears on the blockchain, then it is not a Bittrex Global issue. The recipient should wait until it has the proper number of confirmations required to credit the deposit (refer to Where is my deposit? in this article for more information).
-
The address the withdrawal was sent to should be a receiving wallet for the correct coin/token.
For example, you can only send Bitcoin (BTC) to a Bitcoin wallet address. Please double check the address on the withdrawal. If it was sent to an address for another coin/token, they unfortunately cannot be recovered by Bittrex Global. You may be able to seek assistance from the receiving end.
-
The address the withdrawal was sent to should belong to the intended recipient.
Please compare the address on the withdrawal to that of the receiving wallet. If you send coins/tokens to a wallet that does not belong to the intended recipient, they unfortunately cannot be recovered by Bittrex Global. You may be able to seek assistance from the receiving end.
Frequently Asked Questions about crypto withdrawals
The withdrawal will not show up in your history until it is complete. Here are some possible reasons as to why your withdrawal is not complete, and what you can do:
- The Bittrex Global wallet is temporarily offline - If you have a missing withdrawal and the Bittrex Global wallet is offline, please hang tight until the wallet is back online. Once the wallet is back online, your withdrawal should be processed.
-
There may be network congestion (or "blockchain congestion") on the blockchain - Sadly, we cannot control this, so please hang tight until it's resolved!

- Log in to your Bittrex Global account.
- Tap Holdings.
- In the top right corner, tap the
History icon.
- Tap Withdrawals.
- Log in to your Bittrex Global account.
- Go to Holdings > Withdrawals.
The time it takes to process a withdrawal depends on the speed of the blockchain of the coin/token, and sadly, we cannot make it go any faster, so please hang tight.

Note:
If the transaction does not appear on the blockchain, we will not be able to assist.
You can find this information in the Withdraw window:
